This touched me...

Im still fighting with myself which name to use... for my business.
I was searching on google for some touching images.. and that image is what came up.
I dont know what to do.. I dont know if I should take the advice of dozens of professional photographers IN this business... or the advice of friends/clients... I dont love Drea Wood or Andrea Wood as a business name... I really am drawn to Touched... but still unsure of things.

Considering this photo is something you have taken pictures of a lot (babyslings and such), have you considered it to be a sign telling you to stick with Touched Photography?

Just go with what you feel is best. If you're drawn to touched then keep it. Clients are going to drawn to your work and your positive attitude - not the name
I think you should go with what you really like and what your gut is telling you.
I never thought 'Touched Photography' sounded anything less than professional. Meaning "Emotionally affected; moved" or "moved to sympathy or emotion". It fits you and your business. I say keep it.
Keep it. If you love something, than no use changing it. :)

I LOVE that photo!!! And yeah, I like the name "Touched Photography" too, but no matter what you decide, I'll still love your pictures! ;)
Btw...the reason why I don't comment too often is cuz your blog still doesn't want to load for me very well...most times it won't load right...so instead of trying to load it 10 times before it'll actually show up, I just read it on my reader. :)
i have tons of pictures like that, because i've lived in south africa....since then i always wanted to be a "baby-carrier-mom"....
i also would stick with "touched"...it sounds special and people remember it much better, i guess.....but i'm not a "professional", so it's you at the end who has to decide....

I love that photo, and I love the name Touched. I'd go with whatever gets you excited. You could always combine it and have "Touched Photography" as the name and " by drea (or andrea) wood" in smaller print below it.
